Lorna Geller’s sophisticated and original performing talent encompasses a rich variety of styles and contexts. She completed a degree in music from Oriel College, Oxford and went on to postgraduate studies at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London. She appears regularly with top London orchestras and has also appeared at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden as concertmaster of Opera-Theatre Europe. She has enjoyed successful collaborations with bands such as Razorlight and live appearances with Goldfrapp at the Royal Albert Hall.

Johanna graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music, where she studied with acclaimed chamber musicians Howard Davis and Richard Deakin. She took an active interest in chamber music studies at college, and was winner of the John Ireland Chamber Music Prize.
Currently based in London, Johanna enjoys an exciting and varied career. As an orchestral violinist, she has played with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, Northern Sinfonia of England, City of London Sinfonia, Welsh National Opera and Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. She also performs regularly as a chamber musician, playing string quartet recitals or performing for private functions at venues ranging from Kensington Palace to the London Eye.
Johanna has also been lucky enough to play on both the X Factor and the Parkinson Show and has worked with artists including Katherine Jenkins, Moody Blues singer Justin Hayward and violinist Nigel Kennedy. She recently returned home from a World tour with singer/songwriter Sting during which she experienced the excitement of performing at iconic venues such as the Hollywood Bowl and the New York Metropolitan Opera.

Alexis Bennett read music and literature at the University of Edinburgh before studying screen composition with Dario Marianelli and Joseph Horovitz at the Royal College of Music and historical performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. As a composer he works with filmmakers and animators and has performed widely with early music ensembles including The Dufay Collective, Florilegium, Horses Brawl, Rinaldo Consort and Musicians of London Wall.
His music has been broadcast on BBC Radio 3, Channel 4, TCM and at major film festivals throughout the world, including Cannes, London and Edinburgh. He is developing a research interest in the intersection of film and early music as a doctoral student at Goldsmiths, University of London. Alexis is also a ceilidh musician and the founder of the Early Music Experiment.

Elizabeth Stone graduated from the Royal College of Music where she studied with Steven Doane. Previously she won Leverhulme Scholarships to attend the Purcell School and the RCM Junior Department. She has had masterclasses with many leading cellists, including Steven Isserlis, Alexander Baillie and Karine Georgian.
Elizabeth played with the Tavec String Quartet from 1999-2003, during which time the group won the RCM’s Helen Just prize, the Rio Tinto prize, the Miller Trophy in the Royal Over-Seas League Competition and the Net 4 prize in the Bristol Millennium Chamber Music Competition.
Elizabeth has performed at the Wigmore Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, St. Martin-in-the-Fields, St. James’s Piccadilly, St. George’s Bristol, BBC Proms, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Cheltenham Festival and the Lower Wye Valley Chamber Music Festival.
Elizabeth teaches regularly at the Centre for Young Musicians and on the National Chamber Music Course. She is also a fully qualified, STAT registered teacher of the Alexander technique.
